About Lee - Education Background and Experience

I have a Masters of Classical Five Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Louisville, Colorado. During this three and a half year program, I engaged in 3,500 hours of education; including over 500 hours of hands-on clinical training.

I initially got drawn into the world of holistic healthcare when I was trained and certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association at the Lincoln Recovery Center in NYC; learning and applying an ear-acupuncture protocol to treat addiction, stress, and trauma. I went on to use this training to help create and work at several mental health, addiction recovery, and community-based acupuncture clinics. I currently do acupuncture twice a week for people in recovery at Golden Peak Recovery.

I have done volunteer work at a Free Natural Health Clinic On The Bayou in Grand Bois, Louisiana. After the 2013 floods in Colorado, I also did volunteer acupuncture relief work with  Acupuncturists Without Borders .

In 2012, I completed Michael Young’s Injection Therapy class in Longmont, CO and took Brigitte Mars’ 10-part Herbal Healing Class. My background also includes training in acupressure, shiatsu, ear magnet and seed therapy, zero balancing, herbology, and nutrition.
